Be inclusive and foster relationships

Your remote employees will long for some of interactions that used to happen in the office, such as training sessions, office birthday parties, or company outings. Make sure that your remote workers receive the same training and get the same praise and recognition as they would if they were in the office. Do little things for remote workers, such as send them some company bling to thank them for a job well done.
